Mexico
This last summer I had an opportunity to visit Cancun, Mexico on my first all inclusive vacation. The point of this blog is to share some of my favorite things I did over the trip and my recommendations for fun things to do.

The first thing that is a must do, is deep see fishing. On this excursion we rented a boat and a guide to take us through the ocean for a 6 hour fishing trip. Its a crazy experience and with the guides an almost guaranteed catch. In the photo on the right you can see the barracudas me and my brother in law caught and the red snapper my sister caught.

Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres is not apart of Cancun but it is very close and only requires a 10 dollar ferry pass for there and back. While going throught the island you will pass churches, mercados and food vendors. This is my favorite place to visit as its such a small space with so much going on while still being beautiful and clean.

Chichen Itza
The last stop on the trip was Chichen Itza, its a beautiful site that offers an opportunity to learn about the beautiful Mayan culture. The landmarks are beautiful but if you are staying in Canun be ready for a long ride, it took us 5 hours to finally arrive at our destination, the commute was made on a bus which toured the lower yucaten. The experience of the buildings is beautiful but there is a lot of native vendors set up and they are obnoxious and pushy while you are trying to take in the beautiful temples. Would highly recommend going to visit still but be ready to be bothered by the vendors.
